Stakeholder Analysis for Process Change
Cross-functional process changes affect people who may have different incentives and risks.
Practical note: process design depends on organization, data, controls, laws, contracts and technology. Treat examples and calculators as educational planning aids, then validate changes against your own requirements.
Map influence and impact
A stakeholder with high decision authority may experience little day-to-day impact, while frontline staff experience the opposite.
Include control functions early
Security, privacy, finance, legal or compliance requirements are easier to design in than add after automation is built.
Use feedback deliberately
Consultation should have a clear purpose: validate the current process, evaluate options or prepare adoption.
